From SKH's first walks on the cobbled streets of Noda to To Shin Do as it is now, what other influences have formed this new art?

... or do I have to buy the new book :)

Anshu always talked about how when he first learned the art and brought it back, similar to what his wise teacher, Dr. Hatsumi advised him of, he'd need to cater it to what the issues were over here.

There are a lot of members who are here who may have been around during that time, and I know their insight would be invaluable, but as for what Anshu related to us recently, was that attending seminars of different styles allowed him a chance to test the art out on the tactics and such of other major martial arts. Also, his experience in real world dignitary protection may have played a SMALL part, in it...(enter sarcasm here). :)
