Starting Kajukenbo

I think I'm actually going to be taking some classes in Kajukenbo. Does anyone have any advice for what I should expect or know? Any would be good, thanks.

Looking at your location in Washington, I'm going to assume you'll be in one of the Tum Pai branch schools. If not, let me know.
I can't comment a lot on the Tum Pai branch, other then it's emphasis is on internal kung fu and tai chi, instead of the hard style kenpo, karate, and jujitsu emphasis of the "Original Method" schools.
There are a few hard style schools in Washington, so let me know which school/instructor it is. If I don't know anything about him, I'll put you in touch with someone who does.

It is the Academy of Kung Fu and Tai Chi. Prof. Doug is the instructor.
