Sho Kosugi - 1985

The full interview as seen on the Martial Art Forms show in New York City in 1985. This was during a tour to promote the movie "Pray For Death".

Unfortunately, this interview has a large number of very good examples of why an actor should not be confused with a trained practitioner, let alone an expert....

True (especially for actors whose career has mainly been Stateside), but with exceptions.

I'd happily listen to an interview with Toshiro Mifune (who studied with and was a friend of Sugino-sensei til the end of his life) or Shinichi Chiba (who studied Kyokushin under Oyama-sensei, Shorinji Kempo under So-sensei and I think had some Bujinkan training as well)

Kosugi was trained in Karate I think, so he does have martial arts behind him.
Just not any Ninjutsu lineage like he claims.
