Interesting. I have been doing that set, since about 1980. I learned it from John Fixx, one of Sigung LaBounty's students, who was studying Choy Li Fut. He learned it from them as a "Basics" set, that they did not even consider a Form, but rather like Star Block is to Long #1 in Kenpo. It became a part of our Chinese Kenpo System and I have continued to teach it in American Kenpo as it is a good primer to get students ready for the Kenpo Staff Set.

Interesting history they have. Guess if I want to know I will have to email them.
