Hello, and greetings to all,

I'm a newbie here. I'm currently in the process of researching styles and schools, in an effort to select the right art and teacher. One school I am (strongly) considering is the Hung Gar program at the Asian Martial Arts Studio, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is taught by Mr. Karl Wesley Scott III. I shall of course be visiting the school and talking with Mr. Scott, but I was wondering if anyone here has any knowledge of, or experience with, Mr. Scott?
Any feedback would be much appreciated.

My thanks in advance :D

We have a lot of Detroit-area martial artists on the board, but most of them hang out in the Filipino martial arts areas!

I don't know that instructor, but I can tell you Hung Gar is a very cool system, I've picked up some sets from my Sifu's kung fu brother and they are really awesome.
