Well. As some know I've successfully switched my commission from the US Navy to the US Army. I presently am off to Fort Leonardwood, MO for four months of training (Engineer BOLC) before I head to Fort Irwin, CA with a combat engineer company.

I know Fort Irwin's out in the Mojave but I know I'm within four hours of San Diego and two hours of Los Angeles and Las Vegas. It's a great place I can do my networking and research before I transfer to the California Army National Guard either remaining an Engineer or trying for something else.

Either way I can hardly wait to get to California...:ultracool

Safe journeys and thank you for your service sir. I have never been out to Irwin (but do get to out to San Diego and to Sacramento for Systema training now and then) but spent time at Fort Leonardwood (12E primary 12B secondary) many years ago. Some good training out there.

Thanks again
regards
