Um... you mean aside from attending classes with a licensed instructor?

Are you currently training at this time in that art? If not, you may want to take the time to look at this.

As Jeff said, its best to train with a licensed instructor.

OK, then what exactly is your question that we here on Martial Talk would be better qualified than your instructor to answer?

Not an expert here but I'd say the best way to practice ninjutsu is to practice ninjutsu...it works for karate.

You could train with a box, you could train in your socks,
Train outside, on a hill, you could train inside if you will,
Practice there in your dojo, practice everywhere you go...

Seriously, take a concept, technique or maneuver that you worked on last class and, using visualization, practice it on your free time. Pick one or two things per class to do this with.

Write down descriptions of those techiniques and maneuvers that you know. Write it so that someone who doesn't know anything about your art could visualize what you are doing.

Practice the techniques slow, fast, backwards, other side, what ever...

I can't stop thinking to myself that one guy asks all these questions. Either that or a bunch of guys in cooperation. They write down all the responses they get on internet forums and ten years from now they'll publish a book about them as a critical post-modern analysis of the whole martial arts culture.

So as the facts unfold, remember who foretold...

Are you asking about training what you are learning at home, between classes?
