1. run like hell
2. find an equalizer
3. heres a drill i use
say there are 3 attackers, engage one and use him as a buffer between you and the other 2.

4. refer back to 1 and 2, at all costs , get away with a little damage to yourself as possible

Fighting two is different than one. Three is different than two. After that it's all down to aerobic fitness.

It's not like fighting one person, then another, then another. You have to keep moving and keep doing something to someone all the time, use position, and use them against each other. You'll end up using your sensitivity for the one(s) nearby and your eyes for the ones further away. Most all maintain a soft focus using your peripheral vision. Don't hard focus in on any one person. Use your limbs as feelers and be comfortable going down to the ground and getting back up causing damage all the way. If your system only teaches fighting someone who is in front of you find one that's a little more flexible.

There's a lot more, but that's some of the basics at least as it's taught by my Silat teacher.

Many Silat and some Kali systems are good at this sort of thing. Krav Maga is said to be as well. If you're in the Long Island area Sifu Messina's people make a specialty of it.
