Long ago I took Monkey Fist and one of the moves we learned I cannot remember the name of. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. The move was basically keeping both arms stright and advancing while swinging your arms in an x pattern in front of you (ie. right arm from top right to bottom left then opposite with left arm). Hands were in fists. This was an attack and was done very fast and very hard. Sound familiar to anyone?

I don't know monkey, but it sounds like it might be a variation of Kup Choi, which is a downward raking fist. It can be done with one following the other very quickly, and kind of sounds like what you are describing. This is a fairly common technique found among many Chinese arts, including Tibetan White Crane, Choi Lay Fut, and Hung Gar.
