Yeah man, I love Kick-***. When I heard Mark Millar and John Romita Jr were doing a book you I know I was all over that. So far the movie looks like a fair adaptation. A great real world skewering of superheros.

Gotta love it. Some regular dude gets it into his head to become a superhero ... and gets his *** handed to him for his efforts. What's even worse is the beat down is filmed and posted on Youtube so he's the laughing stock of the planet. But then he (Kick-***) becomes a rallying cry for those who want to do something.

What impresses me most about the upcoming movie is that it looks liek the comic. From the production design to the costuming. I can't wait to see Kick-*** get beaten to a pulp!

One hopes that this movie will live up to it's hype. Trailers ARE notorious for showing only the BEST scenes and the rest of the film sucked like nothing has ever sucked before. Comic adaptations aren't always the best... all depends upon the film crew, (cast, production, post production, etc.).

Nicholas Cage needs a shot in his film career... the last several films he's been in have sucked at the box office. The guy is a hit or miss kind of actor.

I liked him in Ghost Rider, even though he channeled Elvis all through it. The ending sucked because it was so lame and badly acted (last ten minutes) but all in all, it was OK.
