I remember this on the old Apple II.

Z - Punch

X - Kick

Cursor keys to move and punch/kick low/high

Z + UP = high punch
Z + DOWN = low punch
Z = middle punch

X + UP = high kick
X + DOWN = low kick
X = kick

Bow before you fight, but be in a fighting stance when the fight starts or else it's an instant KO for you.

lol. i got to the entrance to the castle, and ran into one of the bad guys. got knocked out.

i wish you could do takedowns in this game.
