Yeah, Mr.Castro seems to be using them as titles of seniority and that is not what they are. Sihing essentially means “brother” and is simply your classmate. There are terms to indicate whether your sihing is your senior or your junior, based on the amount of time they have been training and not necessarily on skill level, but they are still your classmates.

I believe Sisuk essentially means “uncle” and would be your teacher’s classmate. Sigung is your teacher’s teacher, and means grandfather. But it does not mean grandmaster, or something like that. Insisting that people use these terms as a hierarchy outside of these relationships just does not make sense.
