Violence seems to be the norm, with people finding it easier to attack and save face, then to give way and not be pulled into these situations. Very sad.......

Very sad to hear of these crimes and can't help but feel they're a symptom of the increasing pressures and divisions within society. For a time it looked like we'd gotten past this sort of overt violence between civilians, in Britain at least, but it is on the rise once more.

I'd like to say that it is as simple as poverty and drugs, with a sense of exclusion from wealth and justice {as if that ball-of-wax is simple} but I fear it is both more complex and more insidious than that.

That's less to do with Kent and more to do with the Pac Highway. All the way up and down, it's a rough area. Whether you're in Milton, Federal Way, SeaTac, Kent, under the viaduct downtown or on Aurora up in Seattle.

I'll try to stop looking at 3 screens and a Droid at the same time too. Does wonders for accuracy. :D

3 screens. I'm jealous :) only 2 here, but multi remote connections.

I have 2 screens for my main workstation...you know, the one where I get the real work done :D

But I have 3 primary remote connections each going to their own endpoint on the desk behind me (LE/Mil). Its a bit nutty sometimes

I have 3 screens too, not counting phone, laptops or tablets. 24", 27" and 32".

on topic though, what's going on? Isolated incidents, coincidences or some folks getting itchy out there?

I'm thinking itchy. And the nutjobs always scratch first.
