I would first like to say Hello to all the members out there!

Does anyone know of a good book, website or DVD on Panther/ Leopard Kung Fu?
I can’t seem to find anything on this at local book stores or online.

Thank you.:yinyang:

You would probably get more answers in the Chinese section.

To my limited knowledge, it is somewhat of a "lost art," as it was one of the first animal forms of Shaolin Kung Fu. Do check out the Chinese martial arts section, though. They may have more info.

i believe that Wing Lam ( www.wle.com ) has a subsection of their Hung Gar program called Ha Say Fu that has 5 different animal sets, each animal is it's own set (Panther/Tiger/Crane/Snake/Dragon) instead of a form that includes all 5 like some (although they do offer the "traditional 5 animal set").

There's not really a stand alone Panther/Leopard style CMA for the most part. It's a technique or set of techniques found in CMAs and is predominant in Southern CMA, especially in Choy Li Fut, Hung Ga, Hung Fut, etc...

Anybody claiming to teach a stand alone leopard CMA I'd be wary of.
