Here's a great idea! I just read the sticky thread that just happened to get a new addition, followed the links around and I'm upset with myself that I didn't think of this earlier. I just put a MT banner on myspace. It looks sharp there. I figured I'd put up another post encouraging everyone else to do it, and remind them to support their forum.

Now, if you still need a bit of help, I made it super easy. Firstly, I just added 2 banners to my photobucket. If you don't want to go through the trouble of finding webspace or making a bucket, just use my stupidly simple instructions below.

To put this banner up..

Simply copy the text below (highlight, right click, and select copy) then paste it into any text field in your myspace editing page.. It could go anywhere at all. You can also take your MT user id# and put it where you see the XXXX. Piece of cake!

I don't think this is a good idea. Myspace seems to be more idiots than cool people.

But that's just my opinon.

Yeah maybe, but, if they genuinely are idiots, then they'll help themselves out of here via rule violations. In my opinion, the more exposure that MT gets out there in cyberspace, the higher degree of likelihood that it will be sustainable as a going concern. Traffic generation is always a good idea.

And if they are only half idiots, betcha five bucks they can be helped anyhow. I mean.. Look at me, I was at least 3/4 idiot.. Now I'm like.. only about three quarters, maybe .75 idiot tops.

I'd have to agree with Sam here. From the MySpace users I've seen, 99% of them (MT company excluded ) make the Special Olympics look like friggin Mensa. I'm not sure if that's the type of element one would want to attract.

Then again, since there are no pictures/vidz of pre-teen girls stripping here, the average MySpace user probably wouldn't be interested.

Lets be blunt.....if we get a few good folks out of the links, cool. The losers, trolls and dipwads will rapidly be filtered out by this sites excellent members and staff.

What edit page are you refering to... the edit profile page?

I tried placing it in one of the blocks there... and, on preview, it said that picture or video had been moved or deleted?

Any assistance would be great... as I'd love to help refer people to this AWESOME site!

Yes, Edit Profile page.. Any text field. And it was my fault.. I had to remove text formatting in the post on MT to get it so you can outright copy/paste. These should work. Replace 6144 with your ID#
