Honolulu Hawaii occupies a unique place in the geography of the martial arts world. It is about half way to everywhere where various martial arts are practiced. And, Hawaii is home to its own indiginous martial art, Lua. This makes Honolulu one of the most diverse melting pots of martial arts in the world.

The cultural demographics of the islands tell a tale of diversity that very few other places in the world can repeat. One only has to take a ride on the bus system in Honolulu in order to hear at least half a dozen different languages being spoken at the same time.

This article describes the truly unique martial arts experience that only Hawaii can offer.

It's a great place to study martial arts. Not a tourist destination yet, but it could be. There are plenty of people here that are missing out on a pretty interesting take on their business.
