Hey Guys!

I have recently embarked upon my journey to study the martial arts.
That is not actually completely true since I did Judo up to yellow belt as a kid but that does not count in my eyes.

I am proud to say I am one of the few in the world that studies the Japanese sword school of Mugai Ryu Iai Hyodo.

I am pleased to meet so many other martial artists from so many different styles and disciplines!

Welcome aboard! While koryu systems aren't exactly common, Mugai Ryu is one of the more widespread Koryu Iai systems around… so I'm sure you'll come across more people studying than you think… not as many as, say, Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu, of course, but more than, say, Tamiya Ryu… or Shinmuso Hayashizaki Ryu… or Kage Ryu…
