It was 12:30m last night after an already long weekend,so the details are a bit fuzzy....

You take 3 pictures, one under, one over and one right exposed....merge them with this program and pick the effect you desire....

The clouds look something like what Bob did with the war birds....

I am still reeling from the weekend...800 miles in the truck, plus a few other riveting events...

the effects are stunning, I am about to try it (once I am rested, I'll give the 14 day trial a shot...)

Carefully.

The plane shots are about 3 passes through scripts, combined with high pass overlays, varying levels of opacity and some careful fine tuning to avoid going too far into "neon" mode.

I love HDR but haven't mastered it.

This is as I like to call it....Fake-DR. :D Simulated HDR but from one single image.
I'd like to shoot the Tilt'n Diner in real HDR this spring.
