Looks like he wants to lure in the people who are still drooling on the Ninja-image.

What saddens me is if Mr. Roman was actually taught some of the skills of his warrior culture and able to teach them, there is no reason to pull the "ninja thing" into it.

Many Nations of Native Americans had phenomenal warriors whose culture was destroyed, first by other Nations of Native Americans and then by the Europeans.

On a separate note, I found the following exerpt kind of interesting and comparable to the Viking "Berzerker."

Shilombish Tushka (Ghost Warriors) with the tribal rituals of their medicine man believed when you wore the Ghost Shirt, they had special powers and the guns could not hurt them. Crazy Horse, Roman Nose and others great Indian warriors believed the wearing the Ghost Shirt that was specially protected produce a phenomenon of "invincible reckless courage".

To be more accurate, there are several movies coming out with black clad people doing spectacular moves.

Yes. Likely, for the reason you've just stated, to lead to an increase in the student base of anyone willing to hitch their wagon to that image - in whatever way possible.
