In the last month we've sent out 2 emailings to active members concerning our recent site move and gotten a significant number of bounces and rejections. As part of our terms of membership members need to maintain a valid email address. We have begun suspending accounts with bouncing or rejecting email addresses.

Please verify that the address on file is an accurate one for you.

In the event your account is suspended, please contact our adminteam with your username and a valid email address for you and we will restore your account for you.

AOL users please note: AOL's spam filters are beyond annoying and are known to reject valid emails as spam. Too many rejections place our server at risk of being blocked by AOL. As such, if a legitimate email to your AOL address is reported by AOL to have been marked as spam, your account will be disabled until you can provide a different email address. We apologize for this drastic action.

On June 10th we migrated the MartialTalk community to a new web server. While the move was pretty smooth, some members have reported access problems. If you are having problems accessing MartialTalk, are receiving "Site Not Found" or "Forbidden" errors, can't pull up the forum or main site in your browser, or other problems, please let us know.

To help us help you, please do the following:
1- Visit http://whatismyip.com This site will give you your IP address.
2- email your username, your IP address and a description of your problem to this address: silverstar.support.team@gmail.com.

Allow 24 hours for resolution.

Thank you,
Bob Hubbard - Admin

I apologize for the inconvenience to everyone who had their account locked due to an invalid email address. Unfortunately, we are required by our host to remove incorrect email addresses from our mailings to comply with anti-spammer policies and remain on good terms with the black lists. As of this notice, some 70+ accounts were disabled out of several thousand emails sent out. While we could have sent individual private messages, or manually moved each account into a special group that put up a notice that people may or may not have well, noticed, this was the least labour intensive and most likely to get noticed method we could do.

Upon receipt of a valid email address you will have your access restored.

And, anyways...

You must provide your full real name and location in the private profile fields. Location is defined as (City/town, State/Providence) as well as Country (for non-US members). We do not require street addresses or postal codes.

You might want to change that to State/Province, instead of State/Providence. I'm sure our good friends from Canada would prefer to not be confused with the capital of Rhode Island :D
