On 21 February 2004, from 0900 - 1500, the second Northwest "McThrowdown" will be conducted at the Lakewood Martial Arts School, 6010 Mt Tacoma Drive SW, Lakewood, WA. There is no cost for this event. We must pay the host school $100 for the use of the facility, and contributions/donations will be taken at the door. Contributions are not required, however.
This event was first organized among several members of www.bullshido.com last November and was a resounding success. Though attendance was small, the training effect and fellowship was huge.
Though specific format and topics of instruction have yet to be finalized, the suggested topic is "grappling." There will likely be quite a bit of tangential training diverging from the main topic(s), but this is the benefit of this kind of gathering.
