2012 Annual International Kong Soo Do Association Seminar

*When:* Saturday March 31 and Sunday April 1, 2012.

*Where:* Fred Astaire Dance Studio 6645 Poplar Avenue, Germantown Tn. 38138

*Cost:* This seminar is FREE and provided for all instructors and practitioners of the martial arts courtesy of the Technical Advisory Board and Membership of the IKSDA.

The International Kong Soo Do Association is an organization of Korean martial arts schools in the United States and Australia. The focus of IKSDA Kong Soo Do is self-defense. The training offered at this seminar will be the same that is offered to off-duty Military, Law Enforcement, Correction Officers and E.P. Agents. It is a family-friendly environment. The training will focus on a hands-on approach. Instructors will be posted on the IKSDA website linked below.

This training seminar is open to *_any/all_ *instructors and practitioners of the arts (mature teen and above). Advanced rank is _*not necessary*_ to attend and participate fully. The seminar is _*free*_ and provided by the members of the IKSDA Technical Advisory Board to promote fellowship between the IKSDA and other martial arts.

Here is how the seminar is shaping up so far...

Basic 20 & applications

Advanced line drill applications i.e. 'blocks' that can also be used as strikes as well as from a grappling position

Boatman edged weapon defense (same system taught to high liability professionals)

CQC elbows

Flinch response strikes (or how to break/damage the arm & shoulder while following up with multiple strikes in about a second and a half)

Advanced applications from the Mu Shin form
