Static attacks such as wrist grabs are harder to deal with than a wild punch thrown by someone on the street who is out to hurt you. The wrist grabbing is just a training method to learn so many other things.
Guess who's back? I'm celebrating the Cavs going down! I told everyone that LeBron is not the king - yet. He had about 4 points in the 4th. But Kobe is the one going to the finals! Flame On!!!
Greetings LPTers! I'm still around. I am also still recovering from the auto accident, but I am training as best I can for 3 days a week. Glad to see everyone hanging in here!
Thanks Carol. I've been going once a week. I was rear-ended and got severe whiplash. So I am in pain and sometimes get muscle spasms in my back. Plus, I'm not as young as I use to be. I'm going to try and go twice a week starting next week.
No one has been around for awhile. I was wondering where everyone has been. Also, do you post on other Aikido/Martial Arts Forums? If so, where?
AJ has been slow lately, so most of the time I am posting over at AW.
Just had surgery to remove a big cyst near my lungs. I won't be able to train for awhile. I hate when this happens. I'm getting older and I don't heal as fast. I hope to get back in a couple of weeks.
Very nice video. I did see some interesting things that I will put into my training. I have met his son. He is very nice and humble and fun to train with. I would like to see more videos like this. Thanks!
