I overheard my mom suggest martial arts and dad said thats the "fancy way of fighting" and he is not sure it even works.
Boxing is a martial art. Ask your dad if he'd be willing to get into the ring with a 35-year-old George Foreman.
I'm getting on in years, though and my joints really aren't the greatest. I've heard that judo is really hard on you and someone like me should really be in BJJ.

They are members of USJA which is a good sign (the teach judo also) but I don't see any sort of membership in a JKD body. Are they legit JKD? I don't want to be learning bullshido in a McDojo.
