I took 17 of my students to one of the tournament we hit every year. My students did a great job and took home the heavy majority of all top placings. It was a good day for them, and they made me look great.

I think if you are considering putting a four year old in a martial arts class, you are going to have lots of problems (before he quits in less than a year). Wait until he is older: maybe 8 or 10. Martial arts for 4-year-old is a daycare, not a real martial arts class.
I was reviewing volume 5 of Guru Dan's FMA series and noticed that when he and his partner hold their knives, they have their thumb straight up and not curled around the knife handle. Does anyone know why he does this?
