    Developing Explosive Entry Footwork

Hello everyone, Been a while since I posted here. Hope everyone is doing okay. Lately I have been trying to work on developing my footwork, especially entering. I've been looking around for some good exercises to help with this, but most of the videos/etc. that I see are geared toward general...

How does everyone here break up their material to practice?

Oddly enough, I literally JUST revamped my training routine. I wanted to get in at least an hour's worth of practice per day. Now granted, it has to be GOOD practice, not half-a$$ed, but still. So anyhow, I picked 5 different kinds of activities. 1: Forms 2: Footwork 3: Shadow Boxing 4: Heavy...

I always think of something Agent Smith said in THE MATRIX. "Did you know that the first Matrix was designed to be a world where everyone was happy? It was a disaster. Entire crops were lost. Some believe we lacked the programming language to build your perfect world, but I believe that, as a...

Warm weather is finally here after an extended winter, and people are complaining about it. I think that is the natural state of humans: to never be satisfied.

Looking into buying a training dummy so I can practice with something other than my WOODEN dummy. So many different brands out there. Can anyone recommend one? Also, are these things capable of standing on their own? I see some come with chains, which implies having to hang them up...

Listening to a mix of the Tragically Hip on YouTube. I wonder what their future plans are. Before their lead singer Gordon Downie died, he said the band had recorded enough material to release at least four more albums. It'd be great to hear that music.

On the flip side, I hate growing up in a country where people walk around with their eyes glued to their phones like zombies, a country where you can text people for five hours straight but then, when you try to call them because something you want to say would take too long to text, they don't...

Sounds like a novel I will be checking out. I love novels that do something interesting and different even when they are considered to fall in a genre that has rigid "rules." That is why I am drawn to the writing of Phillip K. Dick. He wrote the book that served as the basis for BLADE RUNNER...
