  • Hello, I am knew in this forum. I just began learning Jook Lum with a student of Mark Sifu in Philly. I read your reply about Poo Yee and was fascinated by your reply. I believe everything you said, even though I don't know much about Jook Lum, only the very basic knowledge. I learn more from your reply than anything I had ever read in the past or had been told by the person I learn from. Your words just all make sense. I hope I am not too forward in asking, but who are you? I love the tiny bit I have learned so far,and always wanted to study SPM. I studied classical Okinawan arts for about 17 years and that was about 15 years ago. I have been teaching a person or two here and there, but no real training up until recently. I have quite a few injuries so I have to be careful. I just want to make sure I am ok for now until I can find my way to the right path in SPM, if that is possible. I hope to learn more and help carry the art. I incorporate Chinese MA concepts in my teaching and it makes my "ti" better by leaps and bounds. I hope I'm not imposing or rude in my forwardness, I just felt you are someone I can learn something from.

    Hannibal.
