• Nah, did the facebook thing... and I never "ask" someone, I tend to let them ask me.... not sure about the psychology of why I do that, exactly (okay, I've got a bit of an idea.... ). Still, very cool to be aboard the good ship Andy!
On the thread 'right to bear arms' the people commenting weren't necessarily British, the blog is on the BBC world service so could have been from anywhere in the world.
I'm doing what Sukerkin is, staying off posting for much the same reasons.
Hi Andy! In case you were wondering where I'd gone, I am taking an official break from MT. Some medical problems (of the sadly serious kind) mean that the stress I was getting from what I collectively call the "Fascists, handwringers and god-botherers" contingent was literally bad for my health.

I still pop in to see if someone directly addresses me (like this :D) but I'm not 'active' for now.
I heard "Run to the Hills" today on the radio. Turned it way up and sang along. Played air guitar at a stop sign. Those were the days. Oh crap, I sound so old saying that! Next I'll be telling kids to get off my lawn, which in actual fact I've been wanting to do for years.
I don't know why you are in a quandary. Clearly Rob Halford was better than either of those two vocalists. Or perhaps you are simply put off by his Leather Daddy homosexuality? :D
Merry Happy Sunshine. You have the heart of a warrior and the soul of a poet. Do you know how Rare and Wonderful *You* are?
But Andy, the company would more than make up for the "rocks N stuff." You do still have" Plan 9" kicking around somewhere right?
