Daniel, I've enjoyed your conversation. Where did you go to school for MSOM? My alma mater offered MSOM and ND programs as well as MSAc and DC. I took post graduate course work in Acupuncture and Botanical medicine, and I am board certified in Acupuncture as a DC. You seem very knowledgable in your field, and I look forward to future conversations regarding our professions! I don't have a firm background in oriental botanicals, Astragalus propinquus and a few of the funguses (Cordyceps sinensis, Ganoderma lucidum, Grifola frondosa, Lentinula edodes) are the few that I use on a regular basis. I know this isn't the "traditional" way to practice Acupuncture, but do use a ryodoraku in your office? Having a solid foundation in western medicine, and only a basic foundation in eastern medicine, I find the tool invaluable (since I am not very proficient at reading pulses and what not).
