It is ridiculous how flexible m wrists have become from jujutsu practice and now when i fall skateboarding and snowboarding i have found that if i land on my hand the pain is never as bad...

    "reverse chain punch"

biu gee is the 3rd form in wing chun and its known as "the thrusting fingers form" because thats what its strikes are, finger jabs that come in like a chain punch but from underneath. Chi Sau "sticky hands" is probably the most important part of wing chun. It is a feeling exercise where the 2...

    youngest age for wing chun

i believe my point was not well communicated about tai chi, I understand that there are some serious techniques in that art but the way it is commonly taught even to adults is focused on the flow of chi and internal strength while the martial applications get pushed to the way side. And the...

    youngest age for wing chun

What do you guys feel is the youngest age a child should be allowed to learn wing chun at? Wing chun is a fairly aggresive art where the moves are designed to hurt or maim, so with that taken into consideration would it be safe to teach to younger students or are they better off to start with a...

    "reverse chain punch"

its also a good way of making the art your own. I have seen very few people that dont add anything to thier traditional martial arts. Even if the technique isnt exactly from the system it can still be inspired by the system and can be effective once you develop it

Bibliography on the origins of Wing Chun?

yeah i can give a good detailed history of wing chun.....it just depends on which history you want :idunno: . that is one of the problems with the art it seems that each lineage has a different history that shows why they are the supreme real wing chun. Although you have a very valid inquiry...

    "reverse chain punch"

my thoughts exactly. The reverse punch could be very good when used like biu and could be helpful if you needed to create some distance between you and your opponent
