TAMPA -- An undercover officer working a prostitution sting in Robles Park opened fire last night on two men who tried to rob and beat him, police said.

One of the suspects was shot in the upper torso and taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, where police say he was admitted in critical condition. The other suspect ran away.

It's called poor victim selection. It happens now and then when a thug underestimates his would be victim and gets his **** handed back to him in a sling.

Liberals aways talk about 'random violence'. But 99 percent of violence is not random. They pick someone for a reason. It might not be a real logical reason but it will be for a reason.

Thugs, while usually impulsive, are not really stupid. One notices they never mug a uniformed cop. I mean, they know what would happen.

But now and then they pick on someone they didn't think would fight back but actually not only fight back but fight well. The cop in question fought well.
