i rather loved the Ichi Blind Swordsman movies, not sure if that counts though.

In terms of a martial arts themed movie, I have several favorites: The Forbidden Kingdom, the pilot movie for Kung Fu, etc.

In terms of the best practical usage of martial arts in a movie: A History of Violence

I'm not big on MA movies. Too many of them are unrealistic, bad acting, and or cliché.

I really like The Last Samurai. Not a big Tom Cruise fan, but that one never gets old.

That's one I didn't like all that much when I first saw it, but I like it more every time I watch it.
