Hey Mike,

I will be happy to tell you all of them next class. When teaching IRT I use English terms but when teaching Budo Taijutsu I use the Japanese pronunciation.

I took Iaido and these are the terms we use:

-Sword above your head: Jodan (jodan no kamae)

-Sword held in the middle of your body tip pointing to your opponent's eyes/middle of chest: Chudan (chudan no kamae)

-Sword held low pointing to your opponent's knees/ankles: Gedan (gedan no kamae)

-Sword held vertically up with hilt beside your cheek: Hasso (hasso no kamae)

-Sword held behind you, hiding your blade: Waki gamae

These are just rough guidelines as there are very strict rules for the postions. ie the position of the hilt, control of the tip of the blade while changing stances, your footing and most importantly your "intent". Swinging an iaito just a mere 10 times with intent makes me sweat as if I ran 10km. If there were wars with swords I don't think I'd last very long. I think I'll stick to Muay Thai instead.
