What a month it's been Martial wise!!!

Holy Toledo! What a month for martial arts May is turning into!

Been doing a fair amount of training... which is AWESOME! Doing a Kenpo demo on Saturday at a new school opeining up down in Vass, NC. First time out with my Instructor as his Student... <crosses himself>

This much, in and of itself, it's pretty darn cool; but, it gets even BETTER!

First, my Primary Instructor promoted me to blue belt in EPAK last week...

Then, tonight, my Shihan for Budo Taijutsu told me to put on a green belt... and leave it on!!! So, I'm 9th Kyu!

Not that I train for the rank... but, it's nice to know that I'm at least going the right way with the effort that I'm putting into my training...

OK, guess I just needed to toot my own horn some. I was stoked when I got home... no one to talk to... and the dog was NOT impressed!

Well... maybe a little... but, Max is hard to impress...

Well, it's probably because Max is color blind. He has no idea you're wearing a different color belt, unless you tell him.
