how many of you have felt the pinch the past few years? altho i am a grad student (lack of a job out of college forced me into grad school), i find that searching for a full time job in my field is very depressing and discouraging.
i mean, what good is my education if the only jobs that i can realistically obtain are those that are usually out of high school??
or those that have friends/family in high places????

of course i know most, if not all have felt it.... this is just my way of venting :soapbox: :soapbox: :soapbox: :soapbox:

If it is any consolation I dropped out of a Ph. D. program and currently work a job which "requires" an associates degree if that... but I enjoy what I do and get paid decently well. That is worth much more to me. (also I am spared the BS of the academic world..)
