Showed this to some of the kids at school today. It's a bit of a puff piece, but a flattering profile Canada and its relationship with the USA from Tom Brokaw.

I love Canada. I used to visit quite often when I was in the military.

The people I met there were nice as could be and I remember being impressed with how "clean" the country was. I don't recall ever seeing a piece of litter on the side of the road.

Canada is a great country. After all... it's where Wolverine's from. LOL

Wow, no condescension or rant against social programs! Oh right, it was NBC, not FOX.

Seriously though, it's a great peace.

Speaking as a Toronto resident, I'd say we've slipped in that regard. Littering is not treated with the same disdain it once was. It amazes me to ride the subway during rush hour and see newspapers spilling over recycling bins onto the floor, as if carrying ones trash to home or office were a hardship.

We have slipped.

But I still recall stories of TV and film crews spilling garbage into alleys for a shoot, go on break only to come back to a clean alley. :ultracool

Now that's funny.

I guess the film crews must have been trying to get it to look like New York.
