Tag Team sparring

How many Instructors or staudent have particioated in tag team sparring while at a tournament, you see one tournament her is the Dallas Hammadang and they have tag team sparring, never really done that before so was wondering how it really works and what are the rules for it amd how is it judge?

I did this once with my classmates, but it was just for fun. What I came up with was like Pro Wrestling style of tag team sparring where you have your partner in one corner and you can tag him/her at any point. Like I said it was for fun mostly.
