Welcome to the board! I also study 7*pm under Master Raymond Fogg's lineage. Its good to see you here, how long have you studied 7* may I ask? I have been getting involved in Tai chi recently, I love it!

Thanks guys!

I am in my Second year of training and I have learned 12 forms 10 empty hand and 2 weapon sets, I study with master Chow Chi Fung in Toronto, I also do Wu style Tai Chi.

Yeah, I didn't think the names would be the same, and they aren't. I'm sure some are the same forms though.

I'm surprised to see that there is an eagle claw set in there! I know I probably shouldn't be, as these arts always borrow from one another, but I still am.

The eagle claw grab is used quite often actually, as is Black Tiger Steals the Heart, grab punch.

Sounds like you are taught in a different manner, most of what you mentioned, are techniques out of the forms, sounds like a more modern approach, to teaching PM, breaking the forms down and going through the motions. My Sifu teaches forms and applications, very traditional, so the list I wrote are all the forms I have learned, we don’t break the forms down, but learn then all the way through, do you do any form training?

Actually those are the english names for several of the forms. Some of the ones you listed I recognized. The only forms that are broken down are the sub se lo/self defense 1-16. The others are still the full forms.
