Martial Hearts for Haiti Participants to perform 1,000 kicks to benefit
victims of the recent Earthquake in Haiti.

Arnold, MD - The Jing Ying Institute of Kung Fu & Tai Chi is holding Martial
Hearts for Haiti - a fundraiser that will include a kick-a-thon, kung fu
demonstrations, door prizes and a dance party with Caribbean food and music.

In December of 2004, Jing Ying owners Nancy and Billy Greer were planning
their Chinese New Year celebration when the Asian Tsunami struck. They
quickly changed the planned celebration to make it a fundraiser for Tsunami
relief. The event was such a success, they decided to make it an annual
event to support local charities. Now five years later, the earthquake in
Haiti has raised the call to once again support an international relief
    effort.

Activities will start on Saturday, February 20 with a kick-a-thon at 5:30
pm. Participants will perform 1,000 kicks of various types. Sponsors can
make pledges per kick or can pledge a lump sum amount. Donations can also be
made on-line. Interspersed with the kicks will be demonstrations of kung fu.
After the kick-a-thon, Caribbean-themed food and refreshments will be
available along with contests for door prizes. The night will continue with
DJs playing music for dancing until about 11:00 pm. A donation of $10 per
    person is suggested to attend.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to CARE, an international
relief and development organization. They are a highly rated charity with a
proven record of providing rapid and high-impact programs. More information
    can be found at www.CARE.com.

Details of the schedule will be made available at www.JingYing.org. To learn
how you can volunteer to help with this fundraiser, please visit
