I thought I explained that. Obviously not too well.
I figured you were the one being thrown by “Bonnie.” It was a thread about people getting thrown or beaten up by their spouses, wasn’t it?
@oftheherd1 Proof we really didn’t know what to expect.
Yes, I was the one being thrown by Bonnie.
Then who’s Buka? The guy wearing the green belt with his back to you being thrown is labeled as Buka. Is that Buka Jr.?
I was goofing around, making a joke that didn't work. it started with Gerry making fun of my gi.
The green belt is Wayne, one of my students. Good guy, game fighter.
I thought something was up, but wasn't sure where it was going.
BTW, how was your break-fall? It looks like you were thrown a little too correctly resulting in a landing of head, arm, butt if lucky, and feet. If so, my sympathy. Ouch, the things we go through as teachers.
OH.... so you purposely mislead us did you........for shame....you see this is what living in a tropical paradise with no snow will do to you...you need to return to Boston and deal with the snow if you ever want to be trusted here again
The break-fall was fine, just rounded the lead arm, bent at the waist and kind of rolled. I think learning break falls is so important, and an unappreciated part of Martial Arts.
I just got back from Boston. There was no snow, I looked all over.
thats ok....you should plan your move back for January.....but bring a shovel
By putting you in an arm bar? Dude that looks like it hurts.
My wife shows me how much she loves me by sticking needles in me......
She's really good at getting the pressure just to ttthhhaaatttt point where I almost want to cry like a little girl.
Ouch! Looks like that hurts more than arm bar.
