That is an article about the style that Glen Doyle teaches in Canada, which is based on Irish whiskey stick fighting. I have emailed him a few times over the years and he seems to be a genuinely nice guy.
I hope this keeps snowballing for him so he can become the leader of a new styles movement.

That's pretty cool. I liked Doyle's basic guidlines in the sidebar. I did get a chuckle out of reading figure skater Elvis Stojko is a student. It gave me a Tanya Harding flashback. :D

Great article and story! I have heard of the Irish stick fighting. I remember seeing some videos somewhere. It is definitely very interesting!
