Wife had a bad day at the doctor's (nothing serious, just new doctor who didn't take anything she said seriously, looks like she's stuck with back pain. Did get a script for PT though!). As a result, she picked up some rose for her, peanut butter whisky for me, and we're going to watch some trash tv after my class tonight.

I hope she’s okay. I wish her well.

I hope the PT works well for your wife and she gets straightened out.
Looks like we will be changing insurance providers for some of our business starting next year which will also change our personal insurance. I sure hope we do not go through the new doctor crap as well. I feel like there is a layer of economics a person has to work through quite often. The MD or family doctor is often a traffic cop directing you to the specialist that you really needed to see in the first place. Some MD's are more stringent in their evaluation than others making it harder to get the services you need.
A Lot of money made in that process.

Sadly it seems to be very common for women to not get decent healthcare.
Because the providers do not take their concerns serious enough

Making three different types of soap for Xmas. Including a Coal soap for my friends who are on the naughty list.

On the door of my neighborhood pharmacy:
"COVID vaccine not available yet"
with all the nonsense going on, this made me laugh way too hard!

If they make a movie about 2020, I think Gary Busey should play Donald Trump and Joaquin Phoenix should play Rudy Guiliani.

A couple of nuts playing a couple of nuts.

You know, I actually think they should make a movie or a limited series about Trump. I think it should be directed by the Coen brothers, or Quentin Tarantino, because they do dark comedy so well. I don't know if anyone else could capture the incompetence and the cruelty of the last four years as well as either of those two. I'd watch it on Netflix.

I'd watch that. I'd be good with either director, too. But I think it would be told better by a foreign director. Maybe Parasite director, Bong Joon-ho.

I'll have to check that out. I was never much for science fiction, but started to get into it the last five years. Some of it's really good.

It's not scifi.
It is....well, like 2020.
It has John Goodmann in it though!

I'm a big Goodman fan. And I realize the film is a psychological thriller, but having Alien spacecrafts and quadrupedal creatures dropping from them, makes it sci-fi.

But I'm going to see it. :)

Haha. No but that would be hilarious. It's just my regular recipe with coffee and activated charcoal. So basically black soap.

Might be before your time, but did you ever see the episode of the Dick Van Dyke show where he inadvertently dyed his hands black just before speaking to a large group of African Americans?

It was way ahead of it's time.

It's a little before my time, but I did watch that show in syndication as a kid.
