Steve, I am learning that trying that approach with certain people on here is counterproductive. They make it their mission just to piss people off. Expansion/subtraction is a natural process in almost everything. Certainly, value (or loss thereof) of input can be a result of either trend. Conversely, the value of input can particularly cause subtraction. I feel that is what has been happening for the last year or so. Political conversations should be nipped in the bud quicker. Sadly, the grey line regarding non-martial arts history may have to be more closely monitored as some find insidious ways to morph these conversations into politics. Should not be a big deal considering the fact this is a MA forum. This is part of why I said the Forum page is too broad. Just my thoughts.
I walked 31 miles in the last four days at work. I’m so glad I’m off today. I want to go to the gym but I’m likely to puss out and not go.
Went very well thanks! Just posted an update in my thread about it, was alot of fun! Very hard session tonight and I will certainly be feeling it!
Well aahh shoot! If it makes you feel better just know someone somewhere is posting a wacky silly comment just for you...
I had to Google Pokeman Go to see what it actually was. Good thing I wasn't playing.......I'd probably still be walking.
I could pop down the road and check on him, if you like. I think he was from Lakewood, which isn’t that far. But come on, guys. Be real here. When I saw @dvcochran ’s comment, I read through his last thread. you guys teamed up on him pretty good. I think a couple mentors, at least two mods, and several other posters went on for multiple pages adding fuel to the fire. When he was really upset, you guys didn’t seem to care too much about whether he would leave or not. Only way this makes sense is if what you’re really saying is that you regret your role in his departure.
I see groups of folks all standing around in random spots and that’s what they’re doing. They seem to be having fun, so.... I guess more power to them.
