It's very hard to find this in the U.S.--even Savate without the cane is hard to find. You could find other stick-fighting systems, though!

i know, i know...but that clip just looks so damn cool!

Well, it's a good excuse to visit Montreal, http://www.academiemartialeserei.com/en/index.html I have taken a seminar in La canne with the instructor from this club, very good, also the head of a Savate organization.

Best DVD's would be from Craig Gemeiner from Savate Australia. You can get them through Paladin Press.

thanks, i wish i had known that when i visited montreal many years ago!

Craig Gemeiner, an Australian savatuer, has produced two DVDs, published through Paladin Press, on the Vigny/Lang style of la Canne. Bear in mind that Vigny style la Canne is significantly different from most la Canne.

I'll have to wait until they can restore power to the mid-west before I can view the clippy.

Peace favor your sword,
Kirk
