Further more why do the written descriptions of the techniques generally match what is in the forms? How can anyone conclude that the written descriptions (while not perfect) are only to serve as guidelines in the creation of personal interpretation to be taught to ones students and not apply that same logic to the forms i.e. the forms are just ideas to be recreated at the whim of the Kenpo practitioner and were never meant to be passed down as they were designed (even though we know that is exactly the point of forms to codify knowledge to be passed down)?
