This person and I have very different understanding of WC. In the demo in the beginning he looks to be stepping away from the opponents rather than turning, aka moving to the blindside.

In his lengthy discussion he discusses having to turn powerfully to intercept in order to not get bounced off - to me that should be your first clue you're fighting force with force. Also moving your COG like that goes against WC centerline, it's why it's so easy to be bounced off in the first place. Trying to compensate for that with aggressive tactics is a losing battle IMO.

How would you deal with the oncoming attack differently utilizing wc centrline and without having to intercept?
