Japanese Sword and Sword Arts Forum Charter

For the polite and professional discussion of the swords and sword arts of Japan.

This forum is for the discussion of:
    - Traditional Japanese swords
    - Modern Japanese Style Swords (Paul Chen for example)
    - discussing/questioning relative merits of Japanese-style swords
The Japanese Swordsmanship Arts Forum is specifically for topics related to the actual physical practice of the Japanese sword arts in a traditional dojo setting.
    - Traditional sword styles and schools.
    - Maintaining and making a traditional Japanese sword

    This Forum is Not for:
    - those with a non-traditional or innovative approach. Please post on the General Sword Forum.
    - Fantasy / Anime weaponry. This includes Ninja-to, Reverse Blade swords and swords with the blades on the inside. Please post on the General Sword Forum.
    - "Budget" sword like objects. Your $15 Flea Market special is not a real sword.

Also, this forum is not the place on How to learn swordwork--get an instructor, please. NO LEGITIMATE INSTRUCTOR CAN TEACH YOU BY COMPUTER.

The official policy is that Self-Training is dangerous, and we do not endorce it at all.

We reserve the right to update this charter as needed.
