Hi all

My name is Paul and I'm 34.

In the past i've studied a number of Korean systems to a reasonable degree before finding chinese martial arts.

Have now studied Lau Gar to black sash level and took up Hung Gar about 4 years ago. This is now my main style and I enjoy it immensely.

I'm a fairly frequent contributor to other boards but (hopefully) have an open mind. am genuinely interested in ALL MA styles/systems, and will always regard myself as a total beginner.

I see some "familiar faces" here and look forward to making a positive contribution.

All the best

Paul

Look forward to contributing what little I can....

Yes, despite what you might read of the history etc of Lau Gar style, there IS some similarity to Hung Gar. Not overtly obvious similarity in terms of forms themselves, just similarities in the way that most southern chinese systems have similarities....

Was that a good first non-answer?
