well as far as I know, there's only one real 'style' of muay thai, and many slight variations from gym to gym, and from kru to kru. Never heard of 'black tiger' muay thai, but muay boran is an older form of muay thai that studied the use of headbutts and (I think) some ground grappling and joint locking. Incidentally, Muay Boran was the basis for the Thai military martial art, lerdrit, but there's a topic on that already. As for krabi krabong, if I'm not mistaken, it's a Thai martial art that comprises the use of weapons such as swords. So I don't really think there are variations in Muay Thai in the same way that there are in karate, but there are certainly differing martial traditions from Thailand.

Anyone got any more info?
