LOL, that's possible, but I have also seen guys do flying triangles in MMA comps, and get them locked before the other guy can try to drop him. Not something that *I* would try - especially on the street - but I have seen them work in MMA.

As MattJ say's there is always a possibility of getting slammed. Here is a friend of mine in competition and while not a flying triangle it is a modified flying armbar. Notice his opponent trying to lift and possibly slam but instead getting arm bared pretty hard.
